Lebanon: Suleiman for President

With my ear to the ground and listening to what is being said around me most people are thinking that Suleiman is going to be the next president of Lebanon.  Its funny how this guy just slipped in while every one was looking some place else.  From what I am hearing most people think that he is stands on middle ground, and he will not rock the boat.  On Black Smiths of Lebanon there is an interesting post about the Army Commander  and his bid for the Presidency while there are those out there who say he is the answer is that what Lebanon needs?  This is just putting a band aid on a larger problem that is not getting solved.  When you rip off the band aid the wound will just open up and start bleeding.  One thing I can say about the Lebanese is that they are stubborn no one will back down, no one can give an inch, there is no negotiating any thing.  It is no wounder nothing ever gets done with that kind of attitude change will never come about.
